A group can share lots of views at once. AI can help find common themes. Read the full comments, too. So each voice still counts.

Key points

  • Group feedback can arrive in large volumes all at once.
  • AI can help sort comments into common themes.
  • Reading the full comments keeps every voice in view.

Listening at scale, without losing anyone

Staff surveys, workshop notes and customer comments are part of everyday working life in Britain, and they often arrive in large numbers. Nicole Junkermann suggests a balanced approach. Let AI do the first sort, grouping similar comments and naming the themes that come up most often. Then read the comments themselves.

Themes are a helpful map, yet the most useful idea in a set of feedback is sometimes mentioned only once, in a single thoughtful sentence. Reading the originals keeps that idea in view and shows respect to the people who took the time to write. The result is a summary a team can act on and a group that feels genuinely heard.
